Coated or Uncoated
Cambia siding can be left uncoated or coated with an oil or water based exterior preservative.
When left uncoated, Cambia siding will turn a silvery grey over time much like aged, uncoated cedar.

Exterior Coating
If one chooses to use an exterior coating, we strongly suggest a water or oil based coating with UV protection designed to penetrate the wood.
If coating the Cambia wood siding, regular maintenance should be expected in order to maintain the desired color.
Generally, coatings should be reapplied every two to three years, depending on the level of sun exposure.
